In times of pain and suffering, remember...

“Because he loves me” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name".
(Psalm 91:14)

We all go through hard times in life. Some of us pass through them steadily and some of us give up. Some of us may keep the faith in God strong and stable during that time, but some of us may lose. Some of us grumble about it and try to put the blame on many others, but some of us silently endure the pain and secretly cry. During these times of pains and tears, we may also begin to think, where this suffering may end up. We feel that our strength to overcome is becoming weaker and weaker day by day, the will to endure the pain is fading as days pass by, and tend to lose our focus on God. Our common sense starts losing its value and our whole world seems miserable and against us. We are at last reduced to a level where we need someone else to give us a hand so that we can get up and stand and then start walking again.

If we can look at some of the characters in the Bible who went through hard times in life, like David and Job, we learn that these great men of God would have been in much more worse conditions than all of us. The effects the sufferings brought on them would have been more severe and the wounds which they carried in their hearts would have been troubling them to the fullest and causing them great pains of guilty. Surely they would have got thoughts of giving up in living a life of example. They would have realised that it is time for them to quit from the walk of faith. They had to make a critical decision same as you and I have to make if our seasons of sufferings are challenging our life of faith.

But, where do we find God’s promise even in times of these severe sufferings? What was that great thing God liked in them, which never allowed them to go beyond a limit? Which was that only thing God expected in them for Him to lend His hand? May be the same thing applies for you and me to remember even in the hardest and miserable times.

Love God and Acknowledge His name even in your hardest times!

The words from the scriptures which we have read at the beginning tells you the same. It is God’s promise for those who Love Him and Acknowledge his name. Circumstances may seem harsh and hard, the will to stand up again may start fading and your life of faith may start challenging you. But you need to do only one thing. Among all these sufferings and pains, learn to Love your God who is your creator. Learn to acknowledge His name. He will rescue you and protect you and help you to start walking once again.

He did that to many of His children in the past, and the same to me.
God will surely do the same in your life.
Love Him and Acknowledge His name!

God bless you..
