God's Grace is the Hope of Eternity

Passage to be read: Titus 03: 03 - 07

Being made right with God by His grace,
we could have the hope
of receiving the life that never ends.
(Titus 3: 7)

The thoughts and excitements of eternity is an important part of our life. From the day we realised, probably as a child, the promise of eternal life we have been dreaming and trying to extend our thoughts of eternity. We want to learn more. At every point we want to make ourselves believe that there is indeed a promised life after. But we still know that we have not got the right picture before us; we know that it is going to be more than what our human minds would imagine of. But the path that would lead us into the life that never ends is exciting too. And that path is God's grace.

Grace is the approval or kindness, especially that is freely given by God to all humans. This grace of God is not limited within our human thoughts. His grace is not even bounded by our limited possibilities. And throughout our life this grace leads us. The grace of God becomes sufficient. More than anything God's grace that was assured to us through Christ Jesus makes us right with God. Our life becomes purified, not because of our deeds, but because of His grace. God's grace that is freely given, without any conditions to hold on, is precious. And this precious grace makes our life right in the sight of God.

It is through God's grace that we begin to build our hope of eternity. So let us recognize that it is not our deeds or a devoted life that leads us towards this hope, but the grace of God that is freely given to all of us. Whatever may fail around us, we still have the hope of eternity. Whoever may forsake us in this life, we know that we are assured of receiving a life that never ends. And the one and only reason for this faithful assurance is the grace of God.

When Christ Jesus took up the cross and went all the to Calvary bearing the world's sins on Himself, He was leading us towards this everlasting grace. And this one great sacrifice Jesus did for us made us right in front of God. We were cleansed of our own sins. God was gracious unto us. And this new life that we saw through God's grace gives us the hope of a greater and more real life after death. And our life, under the gracious observation of the Alpha and the Omega, our God of the beginning and the end, is able to grow in the hope of eternal life.

And today, my friend, God's grace gives us the hope of a beginning beyond the end. A way beyond the dead-ends. And this grace of God leads us towards realities that we could only see in our imaginations. His grace makes our dreams come true. His grace makes our thoughts into deeds. And that's why God's grace becomes everything in our lives.

I pray that today God will lead us into the understanding that His grace is SUFFICIENT for us. Even the things that would be the utmost end for human thoughts would be the next beginning for God. He is a God of possibilities beyond our impossibilities. And the grace of God leads us throughout. Let us learn to treasure His grace that is freely given to us all, and let this grace of God lead us towards the beginnings beyond the ends.

May God bless you.

Yours in Christ,
