Our Lives are Precious to God

Passage to be read: Psalm 72: 8-14

"He will be kind to the weak and poor,
and He will save their lives.
He will save them from cruel people who try to hurt them,
because their lives are precious to Him."
(Psalm 72: 13,14)

Millions of times our thoughts fall into the dungeon of fear. The emotion slowly and steadily begins to disturb our daily routine. Fear grows in us, day by day. It shortens our perspectives, and limits our imaginations and dreams. And the greatest fear, as human beings, we face is the fear of loss, especially losing our own life.

This fear could be the result of the identification of a potential danger or threat. It could be a growing tumor within your body or the instability of the building where you are living. The fear about the upcoming examination, about the next job interview. Whatever it may be, our fear overcomes us.

As a result, we become weak in our daily functioning, poor in our thinking, performance and even the amount of wealth. The fear has made you spend all your money, time and efforts on it, and you have lost everything trying to ensure that what you fear doesn't happen. Yes, we become weak and poor.

While in the midst of the people, sometimes you feel insecure. You begin to understand that not everyone is in the way you expected. There would be someone in the background who is waiting to catch you in the nearest threshold so that you are attacked. They wait to hurt you at any point possible, with their cruel agendas behind. Need not to be physical hurt alone. There would be some people around you who wait with mouthful of words, all set to be poured in front of you, discouraging you and making you feel useless, a failure and push you to the extent of making you feel good for nothing. Yes, people hurt us in many ways.

Fear that's growing, weak and poor as a person and being hurt by people around us. That's the summary. And this is where God wants to speak to you through His assurance.

Our God, so powerful and miraculous, with all His might, will save the lives of the weak and poor, and will save us from the cruel people who try to hurt us. Just looking back at the verses we had read in the beginning, we remember how compassionate and caring is our Heavenly Father as He assures us that He is with us. Above anything, our lives are precious to Him.

Yes, each and everyone of our life is precious to God. If you are weak and poor, and if you fear that there are people around you to hurt you in many ways, there is something I would like to remind you of. Our lives are precious to God, and He will save our lives from all these potential dangers.

First of all, let's remember, because our lives are precious to God, He ensures that we live in safety. He provides for us, and He brings us out of all the potential dangers and threats in His own way; God's miraculous way.

The next thing we need to remember is that, since our lives are precious to God, He also makes sure that and guides us in way that makes our life worth living. God does not want our lives to be wasted. He wants our lives to be worthwhile, a blessing to many other.

Would you ever like one of the precious diamonds given in your hands go wasted? No.
Then how much more God would be concerned about our lives. This life that we live is so precious to God and takes care of us and leads us in such a way that would be a precious life indeed.

My dear friend in Christ, I want you to feel how precious is your life to God. All those words that your ears heard, and your eyes read and your heart felt, the words that make you go down and keep dragging you down, let them fade away.

YOUR LIFE IS SO PRECIOUS TO GOD my dear friend. Feel the words. Breathe in and feel how precious you are to GOD. Let all the fears that surround you today, the weakness and the poverty that drag you down and the cruel barriers that are around you to hurt you be dismantled in the mighty name of Jesus. May you live a fear-free life and day by day remember, that your life is so precious to GOD.

I pray that God will lead us into the beauty of His truth.
Everyday when we wake up in the morning, let us remember, that OUR LIVES ARE PRECIOUS TO GOD.

May God bless you.

Yours in Christ,
