We Cannot Understand the Work of GOD
"As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother's womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things."
(Ecclesiastes 11:05)
It's been centuries, that the human minds have been pondering on these topics. Trying to figure out from where the air that we breathe takes its form and who directed its path. There have been enormous research trying to find out how we were all formed in our mother's womb. Somebody claimed "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb" (Psalm 139:13, yes! King David..). Really? Wow. Just love that word "knit me together." But, my dear friend, we all know that the search for this answer still continues and surprisingly there's something new found everyday. Questions that the human minds have been pondering on for centuries and would ever search for an answer!
Who is the reason for all these amazement? Ever thought of it? Were these things in somebody's agenda set with a vision of eternity? Now that should be amazing. Yes! GOD, the "Maker of all things" is the reason for all these micro details and the macro amazements to be still under research. Almighty God is the reason for these wonders. And the truth is, we were never able to understand the work of God in the past, and we will never be able to understand His ways even in future as each day passes by. God is beyond our wildest and weirdest imaginations!
There was a reason why God asked Noah to build an ark. There was a reason why God brought Joseph to Egypt. There was a reason why there was Red Sea on the way and there was a reason why the walls of Jericho were built so strong. God had a plan when David was sent to visit his brothers at the military camp and God had a greater plan when He sent His own Son into this world to be formed in a human womb as bone, flesh and blood. And today God has a much greater plan in keeping you in this situation where you are reading this from! The truth is, God is working on you. He is moulding you right now. He is, slowly and steadily, directing your path towards the amazing plan that He has for you. But my friend, you may be unable to understand what God is wanting to do with your life that is so precious to Him, for God's word says, "you cannot understand the work of God."
God has greater plans for you than you have for your life. He has set you in the place where you are right now, for He wants to show how great He is in your life and how sufficient is His grace and guidance in your life. As human beings, it is impossible for us to know the work of God.
It is awesome to keep all your worries of tomorrow down at His feet, and trust that God is doing something great behind the scene. Only when the right time comes and the right moment arrives you will know what was happening behind the scene. Let's not try and trace the path of the wind. Let's not go all the way trying to analyse and find how things are being planned for us. We are no one to do that. Let's leave that to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He knows where we are heading towards.
Let's put all our trust in God, the Maker of all things and wait for His time.
Be assured, that even though you cannot understand the work of God, His plans are pregnant with great blessings and hope for your life.
